An Armored Truck Loses $5,700 in Cash on a Freeway in Maryland
Why can’t stuff like this happen in Central Minnesota?! An Armored truck was driving down the Interstate in Maryland on Friday Morning when the latch on the backdoor popped open. No big deal, just $5,700 in cash flew in the air for motorists to snatch up.
It’s pretty amazing that no one was killed because of this, a lot of people took advantage of the “snow glove of cash” on the interstate. Reports say roughly 30 people pulled over and got out of their cars and ran onto the interstate picking up as much cash as they could! Hell, I’d first pinch myself to make sure it was real, then run out on the interstate like an idiot hoping not to get run over by some poor fool who doesn’t realize there is money flying around!!!
The armored truck company is working with the Maryland State Police to investigate what happened. The police are also strongly suggesting that the people who grabbed cash bring it in to the state police. No questions will be asked and no charges will be filed.
Good luck! Unless you got their license plates or faces on camera, I doubt they will return the cash!
Would you return the money? Or keep it like the rest of us?
