Allow myself to introduce myself to yourself. I’m Choad. Born-and-bred in northern Minnesota. Can you believe we finally have electricity and running water up there?! I dig music, coffee, baseball, umlauts, bourbon, hockey, Oxford commas, and dark beer. I hate Wyoming. Did I go to school to be in radio? Nope. I went to school to get into debt. To this day I’m .9 credits away from an A.A. degree. As soon as my latest academic suspension is up, I might go back and take an online walking class just to finish it and justify the loan payments. I stumbled into radio while in high school. The local radio station was doing a segment featuring high school students – and it was an excuse to get out of class for an hour – so I jumped in. They liked my voice enough to offer me a summer job while their morning show guy was recovering from back surgery. Eventually they fired him and hired me full-time. My evil plan was in motion! Then I quit to work at a bakery. Something about seeing more buns than a toilet seat made my dumb 18-year old brain giggle. When I’m not radio-ing, I’m at home with my hot wife and four insane kids. If I’m not there (rare), I’m either performing with my band “lolah” or running sound and lights for other bands. I’ve been a performing musician since I was 15. I even moved to California to be a rockstar. It went so well that I moved back to MN 4 months later. Thanks for having me, Warriors!
