Best Places in the St. Cloud Area to Shop for Your Dorm Room — Jesse’s Top Five

Dorm Room
Raul654, Wikipedia
Sick of the same old dorm room? Find the best places in town to spice it up. Since you are most likely spending and extreme amount of time in your dorm room studying hard like you tell your parents, you may as well be comfortable. Inevitability you don't have the funds either to make your corner of the room exactly what you would like, but with these top five places in town you sure can get it close. Of course these are just my favorite places to shop on a budget, so if you don't have a budget then you are lucky!

Furniture Closeout Center

631 Lincoln Ave Ne, St Cloud, MN 56304 (320) 230-1087

This is a great place to shop for just about anything, not just your dorm room. The quality is not the best here but the prices reflect that. The cool thing is that this is for your dorm room and most likely you will not be bringing it with you when school is over, so this place is a perfect to shop. I have come to realize the prices are negotiable too, very nice!

Savers

This is the best thrift store in town, and for many reasons. They have a great selection of furniture for your dorm room as well as cool clothes for you too. The best thing about thrift stores are that you can find better quality furniture that is slightly used. Well in some cases very used, but you are only paying pennies on the dollar so what do you care. The have a loyalty program too, so the more you shop and spend the more you get discounted.

I like this place because you can literally find anything you want right here. They have everything from couches to skill saws. The prices are awesome since it's freight that has been unclaimed,(hence the name), so everything is cheap.

Everything and anything you are looking for can be found here. They have everything from tools and toys to food and diapers. Not that diapers are what you are looking for, but as a college kid you may actually find them useful in some way. They even have the worlds biggest captains chair, a definite must for your dorm room.

Big Lots is a closeout retailer. This means you can find ANYTHING in this store. From food to pencils, from a desk for your dorm room to toothpaste. Everything is marked down to the lowest prices that you will find anywhere. This is my number one pick for pimping out your dorm room.
