Sunday was Mother's Day and with that comes all sorts of letters, calls, poems, gifts, and flowers for Mom. Producer Steve got a text on Mother's Day from his sister. She had found an old letter he had written to his mom in 1988. It looks like a 7-year-old Steve was quite a good son!

In what seems like a page directly out of Bruce Almighty, a Puerto Rican news anchor began speaking in tongues. After stumbling through a few words, the anchor begins to go through a range of vocal exercises. We aren't sure if he knew that the show live, or if he thought it was taped. But either way, the anchor went through what seem liked a classic case of mouth diarrhea.
Paul Kevin Curtis, the guy who was accused of sending ricin-laced letters to the President and other government officials, was freed from prison after his name was cleared. Curtis made the media rounds, told his story and thanked everyone for their support.

In this video, a man reveals his face after countless reconstructive surgeries. He is suffering from a squamous cell carcinoma, which is a type of skin cancer. Normally this disease can be treated if spotted early, but his developed on the inside of his nasal passage and wasn't discovered until after it had done considerable damage. In order to combat the cancer, this man had his eye and a large portion of his face removed.
This morning Free Beer and Hot Wings talked with Whitney Hunter, an eyewitness to the Boston Marathon bombing. Hunter ran in the marathon and was a mere 200 yards from the finish line when the explosions went off. He shared his story with the guys on the show this morning.
Florida International University recently put in a new, quite hideous, basketball court. They took a page from Boise State's playbook and created an artsy playing surface. The school decided to paint the court to look like a beach with crashing waves and palm trees. Zane got a little confused about the court, which resulted in his ridicule from the rest of the gang.
For better or for worse, this cute little girl is her daddy's doppelganger. In the video, a little girl's dad is watching a Boston Celtics regular season game while yelling at the TV. The girl quickly follows suit and begins to imitate everything her dad says, swear words and all. The mother is probably using this video as evidence in an upcoming custody battle after she divorces angry Celtics dad.
