Corey Taylor Tweets News Of A Slipknot U.S. Tour
After what seemed to be daily news on Corey Taylor’s hesitation to do another U.S. Tour, the Slipknot frontman revealed that the band is working on plotting out a new U.S. tour. The singer divulged the news in a new tweet.

After the 2010 death of founding member and bassist Paul Gray, the future of the band was unknown.
“It’s about celebrating the life of our brother Paul, and his legacy.”
No word on when or where the U.S. tour will take place, and, as far as a new Slipknot album goes, that’s still up in the air. Corey seems hesitant to rush into anything.
“It’s more about trying to figure out what it means to me in this day and age. I know what the original music means to me; it’s something that I will always be proud of. I’m trying to figure out what the next steps are. And without Paul, and the way that the turmoil in the band is right now, it’s gonna take some time.”
Corey also confirmed that Stone Sour is planning to release a concert DVD and an EP of cover songs before the end of the year. The concert footage was filmed in England when the band played there on their co-headlining tour with Avenged Sevenfold.
