Foo Fighters Reveal New Album Title

I read that the Foo Fighters have released the title for their new album and are calling it Wasting Light. The album is scheduled to be released April 12th and will include the first single, “Rope,” which fans can buy on March 1st as a digital single. I cannot wait to get my hands on this song so all you ROCKAHOLICS can hear it on REV. Fans who pre-purchase Wasting Light on iTunes will instantly download the single on March 1.
The album, produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder, was recorded entirely on analog tape in the garage of frontman Dave Grohl’s home in California’s San Fernando Valley. Wasting Light includes guest musicians Bob Mould and Krist Novoselic.
Behind-the-scenes footage of the band working on the album will be available on a new documentary directed by Academy Award winner James Moll. The documentary chronicles the entire life span of the band, starting from when Grohl was still drumming for Nirvana while recording cassette demos.
