KoRn at Myth Concert [PHOTOS]

KoRn rocked Myth Sunday night with their The Path of Totality Tour, bringing Jonathan Davis’s alter-ego J Devil to open up the show.
Jonathan’s DJ J Devil set was interesting, needless to say. Dabbling in the Dub-Step style with lyrics to match the kick of the beat. J Devil had about a half hour set with J running around stage with black eyes and teeth pumping up the crowd and not giving a crap if you enjoyed the music or not. At the end he thanked everyone for listening with open ears. It was all about Davis being creative and doing his own thing.
The DJ after Jonathan and before KoRn though, I could have done without. I personally thought he was a tool. Pants saggin off the ass. Every other word was F…What’s up Mother F’N Maplewood. Make some F’n noise. Maplewooooood. Really dude, stop with the Dup-Step set and give the KoRn fans a ROCK DJ set. Jesse DJ’s and rocks out on the one’s and two’s, apparently this kid from the cities can’t. Whatever. I was just pumped to see KoRn. Halfway through his set, I noticed Jonathan talking on the side of the stage so I just watched him vs listening to the DJ who’s name I can’t remember, and don’t care to.
KoRn played for nearly two hours. Rockin the new album, The Path of Totality, and playing some old school KoRn that we know from the early days. The guys just having fun on stage and playing what the fans wanted to hear. Fieldy was on the opposite end from where I was standing to really get any good pics from him. Munky was right in front of me and got several photos of him. Jonathan was all over the stage making sure to get the crowd involved and even thanked our Military men and women for serving. Afterall Freedom isn’t Free! Jonathan recently visited the Ramstein Air Base and shared his personal thoughts on the Military. CLICK HERE to check out his visit.
Personally, I think Myth is one of the best spots to see a show. Great sound, not a bad seat in the house, easier to get up close to the band and feel you are right on stage! Plus, the parking is FREE!
Did you see the show? What did you think?
