Man Tries To Pay For His WalMart Purchases With a One Million Dollar Bill

If you work in retail, or simply have common sense, you know that the highest bill in circulation is the $100 bill, right? Well 53-year-old Michael from North Carolina thinks he can outsmart you.
Michael went to his local Walmart and tried to purchase $476 worth of merchandise. Some of the items included a vacuum cleaner and microwave. Instead of writing a check or using the electronic payment, he tried to pay with a One Million Dollar bill. That’s right a one million dollar bill with the Statue Of Liberty as the “face.” And it wasn’t a bill with the same dimensions of a regular bill, it was the over sized, clearly fake play money.
The clerk obviously refused to accept that as a method of payment. But Michale insisted that the bill was real. It would be funnier if this were an undercover police story trying to get back at bad cashier’s or used for a funny hidden camera show. Michael tried his best to convince the clerk it was a real bill, but it didn’t work. Not sure if he even though the register would have $999,524 in change.
FYI, the largest bill ever printed was the $100,000 bill. It was never in circulation. It was printed in 1934 with Woodrow Wilson’s face in the center.
Michael will be in court today facing two felonies. Attempting to obtain property by false pretense and using a forgery.
