Morneau’s Two Homeruns Adds to the Crushing of Cleveland; Twins Win 14-3

The Twins just came off of winning the series against the Red Sox this weekend and have opened up a can of whoop-ass on the Indians last night in the first game of this series. With the pounding the Twins put on Cleveland last night the Indians loosing streak goes to 10 games. I’m hoping the Twins left some in their bats for tonight’s game, so they can extend that loosing streak to 11 games.
Justin Morneau went 3-5 last night with 2 home-runs and 4 RBIs. Ryan Doumit added a home-run and 3 RBI’s and went 2-4. Mr. Minnesota Joe Mauer was 3-5 with 3 RBIs and Josh Willingham spanked his 29th home-run of the year to propel the Twins to a 14-3 victory. What a game!!!
Scott Diamond threw 7 innings with 7 hits and 2 earned runs to get the win and improve to 10-5.
The Twins play at Cleveland again tonight at 6:05 with the pregame on WJON at 5:35.
