Does Tyler Connolly of Theory Of A Deadman Hate Woman?

Theory Of A Deadman

There is a new Theory Of A Deadman song that we are playing on REV called Bitch Came Back, which happens to be a hit.  The lyrics are catchy and more than likely resonate with some listeners that can relate to it.  So go figure that three woman with nothing better to do in life than stir [bleep] up are calling Tyler Connolly of Theory Of A Deadman a woman hater.  WOW….really?  It’s a song.  He is not calling for people to beat woman or kill anyone, rather he is just venting about a past relationship gone bad.  When asked if he hated woman Connolly replied:

“No way, I love women. What, a guy’s not allowed to vent his frustrations? Isn’t that what chicks do all the time when they hang out?”

Connolly spoke with Loudwire about being labeled a woman-hater, remarking,

“You could say that some of my lyrics are misogynistic, and that I have something against women in general, and my response would be that it’s written about one person — not women in general.”

“Bitch Came Back” is taken from Theory’s latest album, The Truth Is . . . Connolly said about the disc,

“There are other songs on our record that are the exact opposite of ‘Bitch Came Back’, there are songs like ‘Easy To Love You’ which is one of the most romantic songs I’ve written in a long time.”Many of the songs on the new disc were inspired by the divorce that Connolly was going through at the time he was writing them, which could explain the tone of tracks like “Bitch Came Back.”
