Puddle Of Mudd Singer Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Charges

Things just haven’t been going right for Puddle Of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin the past few years. Not only has he gone through an ugly divorce from his hot wife Jessica Nicole Smith (who he has to pay $2,500 a month in alimony), but he was also nabbed by Police in Los Angeles last January for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and driving without a license. Do people actually think they can drive without a license? I just don’t get that. These celebrities and their sense of entitlement drives me crazy. Either way Scantlin plead guilty on Tuesday (July 3rd) to a felony cocaine possession charge, according to E! News. In exchange for his guilty plea, the two misdemeanor charges against Scantlin — driving under the influence of a controlled substance and driving without a license — were dropped. Scantlin will avoid jail time with this plea but must complete a drug counseling program within 18 months.
To add more salt to Scantlin wounds it appears that the Puddle Of Mudd singer owes more than $60,000 in federal and state back taxes.
