Rock Fest 2011 [PHOTOS]
July 19, 2011 5:23 PM I had started this post a couple different times this past weekend but was never able to finish it. I started writing Thursday afternoon with the hope that after the shows that night I would upload the pics. Yeah right! Suffice it to say [bleep] went crazy as you will read below. I ended up with the pics that you see in the gallery and that is it. I do have some more pics and video form Kid Rock on Friday night that I will be posting. But you know how I roll, so it may take another day. Yeah I know, my mom right, I am a slacker….
So Rock Fest 2011 has already been very interesting to say the least. We are now two days in and just being able to post pics. It seems that alcohol and memory cards don’t mix well. Apparently I lose all motor skills at 4am and cannot focus, walk, speak, or take card of my property. All of yesterday’s pics, form he drive up to the shows, were lost on my card. Of course I wouldn’t bring two up here either, because that would be smart, and I don’t do smart things. LOL Today we were finally able to get to a store to get another card and will be posting more pics tonight.
Saliva ripped up the stage this afternoon. To be honest I can’t say I have ever seen them put on a crappy show though and they didn’t disappoint again. Though the weather has been shi**y at times, the cool winds are a compliment to the already killer time.
I’m gonna head to the Skillet show now and will probably come back after to post more.
Not really sure what happened after that last sentence but that is where my posting ended until today. At least we have 100 pics of Avenged Sevenfold…LOL
