This past Saturday former Stone Temple Pilots front-man Scott Weiland issued an apology to the fans while onstage during one of his solo shows in Philadelphia.

Referring to the comments that he made earlier this year after he was fired from Stone Temple Pilots in February, he said:

“The problem is I shouldn’t have said anything at all and I apologize to those fans out there who feel like they’re caught in the middle of it, cause I sure feel like I’m caught in the middle of it emotionally, and all I want to do is play music, man.” – Scott Weiland

Weiland has been currently performing solo dates around the United States and is reportedly working on a new album. While his old band STP has brought in Linkin’ Park lead vocalist Chester Bennington to cover vocals on a new album that they are working on.
