St. Cloud NWL Team Has Chosen Name

The St. Cloud Northwoods League team formerly known as the River Bats has chosen a new name, logo and mascot but the announcement isn’t expected until February 28-29.  A press conference open to the public will be called for February 28 or 29.  The St. Cloud Northwoods League team changed ownership last month when Gary Posch and Joe Sexton bought majority ownership.  Team Vice President Scott Schreiner is also a part owner of the team.

The St. Cloud Northwoods League team will play their home games again this season at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud.
