Staind Adds More Dates to Winter Tour [VIDEO]

The depressing thing about the announcement of more dates on Staind’s winter tour is there is still no Minneapolis date. The trek begins on November 25th in Uncasville, Connecticut and now runs through December 16th in Biloxi, Mississippi. I am really hoping hoping they will add Minneapolis to their schedule, cause this band rips it up live. They are not the most rowdy of stage performers, meaning they pretty much just stand still. But to see them grind their way through the heavier songs in their collection is mind blowing!
This will be the band’s first bout of U.S. in support of their self-titled seventh album, which dropped in stores in September. The album debuted at Number Five on the Billboard album chart and the first single “Not Again” still gets s ton or requests on REV. This will be the band’s first major trek since the departure of original drummer Jon Wysocki, who quit during the recording of the new album. Wysocki’s replacement is their drum tech of 12 years, Sal Giancarelli. Guitarist Mike Mushok said in a recent interview that the job is his permanently if he wants it:
He’s filled in before, he’s a great drummer, and more than capable of, you know — more than up to the task of doing it.
