July 12, 2012 It's been several months since Drowning Pool parted ways with third singer Ryan McCombs. He was their second singer since the death of original singer Dave Williams, who died back in 2002. McCombs replaced Jason "Gong" Jones who was in the band from 2003-2005
January 6, 2012 It was announced Wednesday that Killswitch Engage is searching for a new lead singer after Howard Jones decided to leave. The band originally was going to keep quiet as for why Howard was leaving, but now it seems things have changed.
January 12, 2011 This is just a bunch of crap! I hate when people blame music for the actions of one deranged lunatic. You don't see people blaming music for the good %90 of things that people do, so why blame when bad things are done? Makes me winder....
Drowning Pool has issued a statement about the band's 2001 song "Bodies," which has been implicated in last weekend's shooting rampage in Tucson, Arizona. According to Rock AAA, police have revealed that the 22-year-old suspect, Jared Lee Loughner, listed the song as a "favorite" on his YouTube channel. Loughner is in custody after six people were killed and 14 injured in the January 8th shooting spree in which Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head.
