There's no end in sight to a lockout that is preventing you from seeing the Minnesota Wild's two newest star players, Zach Parise and Ryan Suter. The current collective bargaining agreement expired Saturday, locking out the players from team facilities.
January 31, 2012 It seems forever since the Wild were atop the NHL with the most points and best record. Sadly that was just a few months ago.
January 8, 2012 I just watched last night's game on dvr and couldn't believe my eyes. The Wild came out the gate all fired up and looked to be playing some of their best hockey as of late. I honestly thought this was the game that would break their loosing streak.
December 9, 2011 The Wild are making history this season and it's a blast to watch. They beat the Kings in LA last night which is their sixth win in a row and and sweaps California, their fitst time in team history
March 14, 2011 This past weekend the Wild lost ground in the very tight playoff race, loosing two games in a row and being shutout both games. If they want to be a part of the playoffs they need to start playing like a playoff team. The Wild currently have 77 points and are only four points away from the 8th and final spot in the playoffs, which Calgary currently holds with 81 points. They need a win tonight against the conference leading Vancouver Canucks, who lead the NHL with 99 points. Tonight's game will be a very tough game but a must win for the Wild.
