Corey Taylor is one busy dude.  Not only is he doing double duty between Slipknot and Stone Sour, but he also wrote a book and will tour in the U.S. and Canada beginning on November 14th.  This solo jaunt will be called "An Evening With Corey Taylor," and will feature Corey doing both spoken-word and acoustic performances, along with question-and-answer sessions with the audience.  He will also read from his new book (memoir), Seven Deadly Sins - Settling The Argument Between Born Bad And Damaged Good.  For those of you who hate to read, which if you do your won't be reading this, there is an audio book version of the book that came out on September 26th.  It looks as if 2012 will be just as busy, if not busier.

I can't believe it's almost been eight months since Slipknot bassist Paul Gray was found dead in a hotel room in a Des Moine suburb.  What's crazy is I have actually stayed in the hotel they found him in.  I don't think I would be able to stay there again though.

Gray left behind a wife and unborn child and shook the music world.  To this day the future of Slipknot is up in the air and is still a hard subject to talk about.  Gray's widow Brenna has been the most silent until recently.  According to Blabbermouth, Brenna was interviewed for the new issue of Revolver Magazine which pays tribute to the many fallen musicians from 2010.
