Wild Lose 2-1 in Shootout; First Loss in Four Games [VIDEO]

The Wild have been on a hot streak as of late and won their last three games, that is until last night. Just as the saying goes, ”all good things come to an end”, so did the Wild’s winning streak. Not that it really matters anyway, the Wild have no hopes of getting into the playoffs, however they have been playing like a playoff team.
Danny Heatley scored the only Minnesota goal last night, his 23rd of the season, and Niklas Backstrom had 23 saves. The Wild are now 34-35-11 and have two games left.
The Wild lost 2-1 in an overtime shootout at Nashville Tuesday night. Dany Heatley scored the lone Minnesota goal and Niklas Backstrom had 23 saves. The loss ends a 3-game win streak for the Wild. Minnesota outshot Nashville 26-24. For the full recap of last night’s game check out Wild.com.
