Wild Sign Stoner to 2-Year Contract Extension

I hope next year can prove to more consistent for the Minnesota Wild. This past year was very disappointing to watch. I’m sure it wasn’t that fun to play either. Either way the Wild need to make some decisions in the off-season and get the team ready for action this fall.
I have always liked the physical play of Clayton Stoner, and apparently the Wild did too. They just signed him to s 2-year contract extension worth $2.1 Million. The 27-year old had 1 goal and 4 assists in 51 games with the Wild in 2011-2012. Stoner was a 3rd round pick by the Wild in 2004.
